nVidia FX 570 Abilities

I have a client that has a Dell Precision WorkStation T3400 with an nVidia FX 570 installed.

He has had a DVI and VGA monitor connected for some time, and wanted to add a third monitor.

He recently purchased a DVI to VGA splitter to share the video from one of the connectors.

He added a 39" flatscreen TV as an extra monitor.  Unfortunately, when the TV is connected, the other VGA monitor will not display.  I have connected a second VGA monitor and confirmed that the cable is working as desired.

Is it possible that the power requirements to push the TV prevent the card from displaying on both screens?

Ken West,

Technically, we only support two monitors on that video card. From the internal FX 570 guide,
"The NVIDIA Quadro FX 570 supports two displays. Two DVI (digital) or two VGA (analog) with a DVI to VGA converter."

So getting three regular monitors to function is already beyond what the card was designed to do. So it does not surprise me that adding the TV drops that other monitor.
