no audio even with driver
hi everyone. I have a dell dimension e510 and it had no audio so i downloaded and succesfully installed the sigmatel audio driver but there's STILL NO SOUND! I know its not my speaker because some programs it says failed to load the sound and it wont even show up if i use my speakers, which i tested on my friends computer and they work just fine. how can i fix this please help?

Look in the bios for integrated or onboard devices and make sure Audio is enabled.

I have an E510. What Operating System do you have installed? The E510's came with Windows XP Media Center Edition and there are Vista 32 bit drivers on the Dell downloads.
What is the status or error code showing for the SigmaTel in the Device Manager?
