objects missing on the start menu
for some reason when i click on start the the search,run,and last program accessed links are missing i have a dell 4500 with windows xp home edition sp 1 please help thanks

Try This...
Righ click on Task Bar and select Properties-Ckick on Start Menu-Ckick on Customize-Click on Advanced
Now place a check mark in all items you want to show... Uncheck the one you don't want.

Try once more...
Go where I said and UNCHECK "Run Command" and then select ok
Now go back and CHECK "Run Command" and click apply.
Try rebooting and see if that works.

The only other thing I can suggest is to post your question in the Software forum under Windows XP.
There you will get more detailed help with the problem.
You can also run a spyware program and your virus software to make sure your system is clean...
