optiplex gx 270 sound problem
I have an optiplex gx 270 with low sound output. Also the sound can't be muted or adjusted using the speaker icon volume control. The device manager says the audio controller is working properly. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Hi dwgoebel. Have you tried updating the driver. I have many 270 systems and they all work fine with the supplied driver on the Dell website - I believe the ADI 198X driver. I know it is an entry level suggestion, but thought I would mention it.
