problem with my brand new alienware

These are the specs for my computer. 

I received my brand new desktop on the 3.feb. and I am experiencing lagg. What can cause my brand new computer to lagg while in desktop and in-game of any kind of game?

I just recently checked the device manager and it seems all of my drivers are up to date. Help! :)
