replace a Dimension 8400 PS with a Dimension 4550 PS ?
can I replace a Dimension 8400 PS with a Dimension 4550 PS,, if its wattage is below Dimension 8400 specs?
Dimension4550 PS 250 watts ,
but 8400 is 350 watts !

No, the Dimension 4550 PSU is not compatible, it has no SATA power connectors and has a 20-pin main motherboard power connector, the 8400 requires a 24-pin connector, plus the 8400 needs a 350w PSU, not a 250w.
