The Optiplex 3020 supports two hard drives at a given point. You can either install two 3.5" or two 2.5" or one 3.5" & one 2.5" hard drives on the computer. Below table provides the specifications of the hard drive that can be used.

In order to install the secondary hard drive, you would require the hard drive bracket. Please check the hard drive bay if the hard drive bracket is already there. Please refer to the page 16 of the owner's manual from the link below for instructions on installing/removing the hard drive:
