dear,

i need your help to answer the below questions for my dell desktop with service tag [Amin Note: Service Tag Edited per TOU policy] 

1- What kind of support provided by Dell to me within the warranty period and outside the warranty period

2-If it happened to me a problem in the operating system (Windows seven) and I'm outside the warranty period for Dell Can you get free support from Dell or Microsoft

Warranties vary with country/region of purchase.

The Dell Limited Hardware Warranty for US and Canada is here.

Software warranties are typically for 30 days from invoice (not delivery) date of the purchase, and may vary with country or region. Microsoft won't provide free support for Windows installed by Dell, except for issues with Windows updates and hotfixes. After 30 days, Dell will provide software support for a fee. I assume Microsoft will also provide support for a fee too.
