1) Yes,

Note: Prior to installing the processor you need to check that you have BIOS Version 1.0.15, or higher, when support for new Intel CPU's was added.

2) Yes.

First check that there is free space available for the card inside the case, also that the default 300w power supply is compatible, but the power supply can be upgraded to suit the requirements of the PCIe x16 graphics card.

2.   i have now installed intel core 2 duo e8400 ,some time it gives clock intrupt error with secondary processor(blue screen error). what could be the possible foults.

3. can i update my bios(if yes then how ) my BIOS Version is 1.015.

1) 530 with a G33M02 motherboard > RAM 4g, either 2 x 2gb DDR2 modules, or 4 x 1gb modules. HD up to 2tb in size. Processor Wolfdale Core 2 Duo, E8600, 3.33GHz, 6MB, 1333FSB, 65W, E0.

2) Did you reapply thermal paste to processor, was the processor installed correctly [see page 170]?

http://ftp.dell.com/Manuals/all-products/esuprt_desktop/esuprt_inspiron_desktop/inspiron-530_owner%27s%20manual_en-us.pdf

As you have reused the heat sink, plan on cleaning it's base and reapplying thermal compound to the processor.

Directions for cleaning and applying thermal compound, are HERE.

Only need a small tube of thermal compound is needed, this can be purchased from any online, or local computer store.

I have been running a e8400 in my Inspiron 530 MT for several years, without any issues.

3) BIOS Version 1.0.15, should be fine, support for new Intel CPU's was added with this version. The latest BIOS version Dell published is the 1.0.18 . All the instructions for flashing the BIOS are given on Dell's download page.

Note; A bad, or corrupt BIOS flash, can cost you a new motherboard.

4&5) The Zebronic 450 is not compatible, it only has 3 x SATA power connectors, the 530 requires four connectors.

Standard ATX power supply units can be installed, with either a 24-pin or 20+4-pin main motherboard power connector, with or without the on/off switch.

You should be able to buy a compatible power supply from either a local or online computer store.

Note: A power supply with four SATA power connectors, is required.

A hint, don't go cheap on the power supply, check out the Corsair and Antec brands of power supplies.

You do not need a new power supply for a 5450 video card.
