upgrade inspiron 530 gpu

so i have originally the ati HD 3400 but its super outdated. so is it even possible (with a psu change to 600w) to get a EVGA 650 TI superclocked 2 GB to work on my inspirion 530. My cpu is intel core 2 quad q6600 2.2 or 3.5 idk really. I know i have to upgrade my psu because its too low of a voltage. My gpu right  now cant even run battlefield 3 on medium and it bothers me because i would love to have a gpu that could run high on about 60 fps.

BTW its not the slim. the slim is too small i know that. And the psu im getting is a corsair cx600 builder series 600w.

you are correct you would need a power supply upgrade but I think you'd be surprised how well that old q6600 can keep up for gaming.

Hi Davidc9998,

Yes, the video card and the Corsair Builder Series CX600W PSU are compatible with your system. Dell Inspiron 530 is normal mini tower; you can fit in normal ATX PSU.
