were do my wires go please dell optiplex 170l

Are you using a retail mobo in your Optiplex case or are you using a retail case with your Dell mobo?

Hi steve iam useing retail case retail mobo the case is optiplex 170l and it says on the motherboard K7SOM+ v7.5c the wires come from the switches on the front of the case they came out when i was changed the drives and now no matter were i put them the green on light wont work and the hatd drive light wont come on i think i have got the power one in ok because i can power it up thanks keith

Unfortunately, the process of experimentation is probably your best option. Dell does not publish the wiring diagrams of their proprietary cable assemblies. This is one of the problems associated with mixing proprietary OEM hardware with retail hardware.
