what is the difference between the xps 9000 and the xps435t
hi. on the dell website at this link on the left side of the page by the first configuration http://www.dell.com/us/en/home/desktops/desktop-studio-xps-9000/pd.aspx?refid=desktop-studio-xps-9000&s=dhs&cs=19&ref=dthp it says when comparing the new xps 9000 to the former 435t "it has the same outside, but new inside and more performance". i compared the specs on the 2 and cannot find any differences. I'll assume that there has to be something new on the inside and more performance if dell is stating that, but i just cant find out what it is. I called and spoke to some Dell salespeople as well as one technical support rep, but no one knew the answer to this question. does anyone know what is new inside and what they mean by more performance? thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

thanks for you reply, its appreciated. besides that, would it be fair to say these 2 are basically the same machine? the reason im asking is because i just bought a 435t and now im buying a 9000 and im giving one of the systems to my brother. obviously i want to keep the better one for me if there really is a "better" one. both have 6gb memory and i dont plan on adding anymore to either. thanks.

That could be based on the sales perspective of only 12GB ram on the 435T versus 24GB of ram on the 9000.

IF BOTH MACHINES HAVE 6GIGS THEY ARE EQUAL, BUT THE 9000 REMEMBER CAN HOLD 24GIGS
RATHER THAN 435t HOLDING 12GIGS...YOU WOULD HAVE, POTENTIALY BETTER MACHANE.

THE ONLY DIFFERENCE MAY BE THE 9000 CAN ACCOMADATE 24 GIGS OF MEMORY VS 12.

Why are you responding to a thread that's five years old?
And it's rude to use all caps in posts because it means you're shouting at us.
