would like to upgrade my old Dell Dimension E510 -5150 from xp to windows 7 -- need a video card
I ran the window 7 advisor and current video card RADEON x300 SE 128m needs to be replaced.
Researching a cheap card , I found ATI 7750 Radeon card on Amazon.
Will this work with my power supply 305W
Thanks for any suggestions

Hi Wally,
The Radeon HD 7750 should work fine, and give you a boost over the old card.

If you don't want to spend that much money on the HD 7750 and you have lived with the old X300, you can simply get the HD 6450 HERE. I use it on Windows 7 and it works fine. It is also much better than the X300. Most likely you are upgrading from XP due to support ending soon so I would not spend too much. There would be no reason to have the better HD 7750 on an older system unless it was for gaming purposes and especially matched up with an old Pentium 4 processor.

The 6450 is down at the bottom end.
The much slower 80 shader 5450 is only about $8 or less cheaper in some places.
