wrong boot logo resolution - UEFI, Windows 8.1

When I got my XPS, it was bought without a monitor, since I was reusing a 24" display I have.  On first boot, I used an old 17" 4x3 LCD monitor to set up the computer and transfer data from the old one.

Well, since then, the boot logo (Dell round logo and small circling dots below), are in 4x3 format instead of 16x9, hence they look stretched to the sides (or squished from the top)

My understanding is that this boot logo and/or resolution is in the UEFI partition.  Other than a complete reinstall, can anyone suggest how to properly fix this?  Or am I stuck with them this way?

TIA.

I'm not sure if there's a way to fix it. I'd just leave it since it's only the boot screen and BIOS, it is not harming anything.
