Can anyone confirm if this graphics card works with the xps 8500 a09 bios?

Bios doesn't apply here. Power supply and dimensions of the card are important. Is the psu powerful enough (at least 500w) with the right connectors and do you have the room in the tower and 2 slots free to accommodate the card's size? The interior of the 8500 is very tight and might not accommodate the big card. A 600w power supply or bigger is recommended. The card might need a power supply with special connectors. When you add up the expense of a new psu and the card--That's a lot of money to spend on that model computer. The reviews on your model say this--
CONS
Look at the inside of the computer to see how cramped it is and measure for any card you are considering.

Well. I'm going to upgrade my PSU and I'm positive that there is enough room. I have heard bios issues with my specific model of computer. There is a thread somewhere about compatibility issues with the xps 8500
