Dell 3040 psu options
Hello guys,
Was wondering if the 8pin to 24pin psu adaptors for the 3020 dell optiplex work ok in a dell optiplex 3040?
A psu i had laying around fits perfect with 0 mods an Antec MT350, 1 screw lines up and the other 2 screw tight into the venting holes, its upsidedown but has clearance for the fan at the bottom and has a good bit more juice for a decent card.
Specs:
I5 6500
1x8gb ram
1tb HDD
2 Fans
1 CD/DVD drive
What would be the max TDP card I could use with Antec MT350? And space for the card could also be an issue?
Just looking some advice before spending cash,

I cannot verify it an adapter will work. If not, your will need to purchase another motherboad.
Maybe someone on the forum will jump on the thread with verified input.

Hi, thanks for the reply, I went ahead and orderd a GTX 960 along with the 8pin to 24pin adaptor and a pcie adaptor so I will find out soon, should all be here by friday.
These little pc's are still very new so not much info out there yet, So far Im very impressed with its small, quiet design with the ability to house a full size card.
