Dimension 9150 - Blinking Green Power Light - No Start Up
Hi,
This is my first and slightly urgent post.
I was working on my computer and it froze. Nothing unusual about that. I turn off the computer and went to turn it back on but it refused to boot. I followed the troubleshooter and nothing worked.
Description
===========
Model: Dell Dimension 9150
Warrent: Finished
Age: 1.25 years
Use: General officework and PHP development
Current State: Off, power supply has little effect, refuses to turn on, blinking green light v. short, 2-3 second intervals
Other Notes: LAN Button - Flashing Orange
Thanks
.|Simon Morris
[edit]
I have now noticed that, by pressing the (-) button on my monitor (third in from the right edge) that it comes up with the following message
--
In Power Save Mode
Press Computer Power Button
Or any key on keyboard or move mouse
--
I have tried the above things to no avail, the computer does not respond to the on button / keyboard / mouse
Any ideas???!?!?

I pulled out the power cable and rather than using the power button to turn off the internal power I left it and the internal power turn off anyway. I think this means that the power button may be broken, this would explain why it's not turning on at any rate
* Sorry about the double post
