Factory Restore CD for Win 7 / Inspiron 660

I just purchased an Inspion 660 from Dell with Win 7 Home. I am used to receiving a factory restore CD with a new computer. I certainly don't need it now, but how will I be able to get one if I need it?

Hi Gary,

Earlier, the factory restore CD’s were shipped out with the system. However, with the newer systems a software called Dell DataSafe Local is being shipped out. It is a convenient way of restoring the computer back to factory settings and consumes less time. You can visit the link on how to create System Recovery disks http://dell.to/RgKnOi.

Please reply if you have any questions.

If you reside in the US and are the registered owner of the computer, a disc containing the factory-installed operating system specific to your system, can be requested from HERE.

Note: Dell may make a charge for the disc.

If you don't reside in the US, contact Dell's Technical Support that's located in your country.
