Graphics driver problem

Own a Dell Model DHP desktop and received an error message that the Intel Graphics Driver has stopped working properly.  Was directed to the intel Corp website where the issue was analyzed and I was infomed that the installed driver is a manufacturer custom driver.  The installed drive is an Intel 845G-6.13.01.3084.

Anyone have a suggestions where I should head next?

I've been on here since 2002 and never heard of a model referred like that.  If you will post the actual Dell model we can refer you to the latest Dell driver.  Models are such as Dimension 8200,  XPS400, Inspiron 530, etc.

Hi Retiree09

First, apologies to fireberd (knew I should have posted this reply before going for a comfort break)

As already explained, the term Model DHP doesn’t mean anything to Forum members

Always better if you can post:

Computer model by using Product Line (name) & Product Model (number)

E.g. Optiplex 740 or Dimension 4500 etc…

And the Windows OS being used, e.g. XP or Vista

There are a number of sources where you can obtain drivers for your Dell PC

Resources (Drivers & Utilities) CD, normally provided by Dell with PC purchase

Or

Dell Support, click here & select Drivers & Downloads

Enter your computer Service Tag (don’t post that information on the Forum)

Using Service Tag will narrow down choice of drivers to As Shipped (assuming it’s original build spec graphics card you are using?)

Driver you require is under the Video category
