Inspiron one 2020 won't start
I have a 3 yr old Inspiron one 2020 that I left on last night and when I woke up it would not start. I press the power button. It flashes yellow then white. The light on the power cable (blue) flashes twice and I can hear a pair of soft clicks from inside the machine, then nothing.
I've unplugged it and held the power button for 10 seconds then tried to start it. Same result.
I've performed a CMOS reset, as described in another post, but does not work.

Thanks for writing to us.
A flashing yellow/amber indicate the system cannot start initialization or is in sleep mode . Either one or more components may be malfunctioning.
The power adapter blue light should stay solid blue, flashing twice doesn;t really indicate anything.
Would request if possible try another power charger, also try to re-seat the memories.
Are you using a wireless keyboard/mouse? If yes, then arrange for a USB keyboard and try to wake up the computer by pressing enter.
Does the machine loads f2 or f12 menu if tried?
If the f12 menu loads please run the diagnostics.
If none of the above steps work, I am afraid its a motherboard failure.
