MIDI Support for a GX270 in Windows NT4

We have windows NT 4 loaded on a GX270 and the wav portion of the soundmax driver is working but there is no MIDI support in this driver for the Soundmax card.  Is there a way to get midi support for WINNT 4 for the card or is there a third party half hight sound card that will work.
