Maximum Specifications for a Dell Inspiron 530
I recently bought a Inspiron 530 and have
4GB of DDR2 800mhz Ram
2.6GHZ Dual Core pentium processor
500GB HD
300 Watt Power Supply
What would be the maximum hardware for the RAM and CPU?

The 530 systems were build with two different models of motherboards.
As your 530 was purchased with a Core 2 Duo processor and a 300w power supply, this PC has 0RY007 motherboard, that only supports Core2 Duo processors, not Core 2 Quad.
You can use up to either a Core 2 Duo E8400/E8500.
Maximum memory is 4gb.
