First, edit your post and remove the Service Tag #.  That is not allowed on the forum.

Second, what model PC do you have?  However, Dell uses custom boards, not standard ATX or BTX boards, made to Dell specs.

It's a Dell motherboard, based on the Intel 865 GV chipset, made to Dell's proprietary specifications, by outside contractors.

Find another vendor - if he can't look up the information from Dell, he's not competent.

Here's the technical info on your system:

What information are you looking for? The board isn't a retail unit, and has no retail model number - it is a board built for Dell by Mitac or Foxconn. It's a Dimension B110 mainboard.

Sorry I should have stated my problem from the begining.
I bought a 1gb memory upgrade on eBay, it doesen't work.
before I can send it back or get another one he wants the motherboard info, to make sure everything is compatible.
I never dreamed I couldn't get the info??
Thanks everybody.

Return the memory, get a refund and go to Crucial, use their memory selector and buy memory that's guaranteed to work in your system, has a lifetime warranty and free S&H on orders of $40.00 or more.

If that 1GB was a single module, it was probably high density, which most PCs except for servers can't use. Most of the 1GB modules sold on eBay, especially the cheaper ones, are high density. You need low density memory.
