My Computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the video controller
I used my service tag in "I'm looking for drivers and downloads" and filter which is compatible under Windows XP. but when i downloaded the file and run, its always encountering "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software". I've checked my OS and its updated. Why ?
I tried also to choose a model which is similar to my Inspiron Desktop 530 and download the video controller, unfornatunately no match and compatible on my video. Anyone can help me on this?

What is the actual video driver file you downloaded? Did your 530 come with XP or did you install XP yourself? If your 530 came with Vista, for example, then the Dell download listing based on your sevice tag will have Vista drivers. Also what video is installed in your 530. If you don't know, download the free Belarc Advisor and run that and it will list what Video you have. www.belarc.com

I have exactly the same problem with Dell Precision M 4700, whilst trying to update any of the drivers (video in particularly for AMD M4000). I initially thought this is a Windows 8 quirk, but apparently not. Anyone can shed any light?

Precision M4700 Intel Core i7-3520M and an AMD FirePro M4000 graphics drivers are VERY specifc.
You have to match the INTEL HD driver with the Dell Driver both from dell. Generic Drivers don't work.

I have eventually found the driver at ftp.dell.com/.../Video_Driver_CH36P_WN_9.01_A03.EXE. Still I think it looks poor to me when both Dell hardware auto-detection facility as well as finding the exact model by product tag are leading you to download stuff that doesn't work. Apologies for writing upon irrelevant post tho.

I too have the same problem for my Dell XPS 8700 with windows 10 64 bit OS
