Number Pad not working

Just got my new Dell and everything is great, only that the number pad on the keyboard is not functioning at all. I have the wireless Dell keyboard and mouse, I have looked everywhere to see if I have somehow dissabled it but I can't seem to find anything, the trouble shooting isn't helping me either. Any help with this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Do you have the numbers lock selected on the keypad, it will say NUM LOCK right above #7 on the keypad!!

Hi Chesty1: Yes as a matter of fact I did have my Num. lock button on.

It kind of threw me off 'cause I didn't see a num. lock indicator anywhere and when I tried my other keyboard it was doing the same thing. Anyhow, thanks for the response, I do appreciate it. These forum things are great for computer illiterate people like myself.
