Optiplex 745 Unmountable boot volume BSOD
When I try to start up the computer, I get a blue screen with the error Unmountable boot volume. The technical information at the bottom says *** Stop: 0x000000ED (0x86FC7900, 0xC0000006, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) I've tried using the Windows CD and typing chkdsk /r, but that just takes me to another blue screen that says c0000139 {Entry point not found} The procedure entry point Ntserialzeboot could not be located.

A drive from the space shuttle that fell from the sky is recoverable so yours is also.
HOWEVER it costs more than you are willing to pay.
$350 diagnosis and $3600 for data recovery.

So is there no way to fix it, or at least recover the data from it?

I need help with this error. Ok, it all started this morning on my MiniTower Optiplex 745 *Flashback*
I was trying to fix a Ethernet Driver Error. Like the person I am, I just looked on the internet with fixes. So I downloaded a bunch of thoses drivers. I installed them (I think in random places), Had no idea what I was doing. Now all this happens. I can't boot it up or go to safemmode. I have a Windows XP professional OEM Disc, it won't load, and I litterally just took it out of the package for NOTHING. Still doesn't work.
It keeps going to Unmountable_Boot_Volume
Techical Information: *** STOP 0X000000ED (0X86562900, 0X00000000, 0X00000000)
And im just sitting here like, what the heck does that mean.
All I know is, I may or may have not deleted some Drivers , or put Drivers where am not suspose to, HELP.

There are no soft fixes for hardware damage. It can be recovered but recovery is not free.
it means we stick a fork in you because you are done.
You need to buy a new drive and reinstall from scratch.
Data on the old drive is not user recoverable.
chkdsk /r will not fix this because the drive is Physically Bad.
STOP : 0Xc0000139 {Entry Point not found}
The procedure entry Point Exception Filter could not be located
in the dynamic link library ntfs.dll.

Heh heh <3
Actually, I had to make the CD-ROM first(Little confusing for me) , I didn't figure it out after hours of that. So I inserted the OEM Windows XP and rebooted it. I did chkdsk /r and worked fine.
Pfft, Physcially Bad.
