Power supply unit (XPS 8500)

Hi, my power supply unit (model Hu460ad-01 for XPS 8500) exploded few days ago just 5mins after I switch on my computer (luckily, no one is injured) . I opened up the power supply unit and saw a shattered IC chip. I had just bought my computer in Nov 2012 and that means the warranty had just ended around 3weeks ago. This is the first time I have a computer that last me less than 2 years and I'm really disappointed. I would like to get the spare part for the model but couldn't find in your website. Any suggestions? Thanks.

If you're buying it, I'd suggest an aftermarket unit like the Seasonic 520-watt.

Hey thanks for the advice. Will that be compatible with my pc? If so, I will see if it's available in Singapore.

I have one in an XPS 7100 chassis, which is the same as yours. My XPS 8500 uses an aftermarket case and Cooler Master 430M, but the XPS 8500 board is fully compatible with any regular ATX power supply.
