Radeon X1300 256MB 128-bit GDDR2 PCI Express x16 Crossfire Ready Video Card

Like on a scale of 1 to 10 how much better is the Radeon X1300 256MB 128-bit GDDR2 PCI Express x16 Crossfire Ready Video Card compared to the one I have right now. An ATI Radeon X300SE 256MB?

If the X300 is a 2, then the X1300 is a 4.
For the uses you described earlier, either is fine.

If you want to give yourself a bit of a buffer just in case a game comes along that you would enjoy to play, then bump up to the X1600, or, the nVidia GeForce 6600 GT 128MB.

The X1600 will run you $160 and the GeForce 6600 GT 128MB can be had for around $110.
