Recording to Creative WaveStudio
I have hooked up a turntable to record my old 33 rpm vinyl. The turntable output goes to a mixer (GLX-2800-PC Mixer interface) and its output to the line in on my Creative Sound Blaster Live. Music is heard out of the PC's speakers (Precision 530; Win XP Pro) . When I hit the record button it appears recording is started but there is no input to Creative Wave Studio. I have also tried Audacity and do not get input there either. Help is apreciated.

dave, if your turntable has a ground wire it must be grounded make sure your hooked through a stereo output not your turntable directly to your soundcard.
