Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 hardware not detected

Question

I just recently purchased a Dell Optiplex GX270 with a SoundBlaster Live! 5.1 sound card.  Now, my PC wont recognize that it exists and says it cant find the sound card.  What can I do to make the PC acknowledge that its there?

I have the exact same problem.  Any solutions?  This is ridiculous---I just got my system yesterday.

I opened my case, took the SB Live card out, put it back in firmly, and reseated the device that locks it in, and restarted.  I then ran SB Live installation from the CDRom, and it worked fine.  Apparently my card was just not seated properly.
