Trying to get my Dell Dimension 8100's network card(s) to work...running MS Serve 2K

I have (now) 3 dell computers

i just installed windows server 2000 on my old dell dimension 8100 and have everything working except the for the whole point of trying this

can't get either of the nic cards to work...driver issues

has anyong tried this?  all iwant to do is host a simple database on it and bulid an interface to use across my home network for purposes of study...just doing it to get my computer 'sea-legs' back as am planning to return to work as a dtabase admin or other such function

This really isn't worth spending much more time on...after all my laptop has more 'power' than the old 'puter       the more time trying to get a *** nic card to work is that much less am not codding in C++

any help out there????

PCI devices won't enumerate correctly without chipset drivers.  The Network card drivers are not native to windows either.

What you are trying is not supported and windows 2000 is EOL EOS.
