frequent unwanted reboot

This occurs on an Optiplex 780 running XP.  The system reboots about every 60 seconds.  I upgraded to 4GB RAM last week and system was functioning ok.  We had several power outages since then.  The system runs off a UPS.  Any suggestions will be appreciated.

The default setting for system failure is to reboot automatically. You need to change that setting in System, Startup & Recovery, Advanced Settings. You might need to remove the new ram and put the original chips back in to see if the memory is causing the problem. Run the Dell Diagnostics to check for hardware failures if you can. Try booting to your XP disk and run the Recovery Console. support.microsoft.com/.../307654
