how to get around a password
Please I need help !! I recently changed my password, and cannot remember it . now the only section I can log into is the guest section.
has anyone got an Idea how to over ride or get around the password ?? I did try safe mode and it also asks for the password.

I have a windows 7 home premium, on a dell Inspiron One 2020 . a 64 soemthing--(I am sorry , don't remember what that is called
and it is the log on password that I cannot remember. is that called a windows password?

Hi Linda,
If you have created a Password recovery disc then you may use it and reset the password. If you do not have it then you may use the below link and reinstall Windows which resets the logo password:

A password recovery tool like Ophcrack may decipher the password, but it involves some work.
