Web Assembly, the third Major form of Compute

In my recent visit with Chris Aniszczyk, CTO of the Cloud Native Compute Foundation, he took me through the rise of Web Assembly (also known as WASM) and how it's establishing itself on servers, the cloud and edge devices.  He also explained why he feels its on its way to become the third major form of compute.
