Day One at EMC World

Here's a wrap-up of things that happened at EMC World yesterday:

EMC World

Yesterday, all of our executives delivered keynotes explaining all the different elements that make up the journey to the private cloud. Interested in hearing them? Check out the social media news room for EMC World.

Proven Professional Specific

Michelle did a nice job of wrapping up what happened in the Proven Center yesterday in this post. She was also busy taking videos, check them out in the bottom of this thread.

ECN had an awards ceremony for Community Experts. Most of the faces in that crowd were fellow Proven Professionals.

World Wide Proven Professional Day kicked off during EMC World Day One. We have a few people posting pictures in our Flickr group, trying to win an official EMC World 2010 Proven Professional shirt. Which one is the best picture so far?

And people are changing their avatars and commenting in this thread, hoping to win a raffle prize that will be given away at the Knowledge Sharing Awards today (that starts at 5:45 Eastern time, but you have to be entered in the contest by 3 PM Eastern time to be eligible). So far we've had entries from Austin TX, Bangalore India, Pasadena CA, Ljubljana Slovenia, London England, Zurich Switzerland,  Riyadh Saudi Arabia, St. Louis MO, Sydney Australia, Brookings SD, Adelaide South Australia, Orlando FL, Cape Town South Africa, Frankfurt Germany, Rome ITALY, Nürnberg Germany, Chennai India, Cairo Egypt, and Milan Italy.
