E20-001 BASIC QUESTION
I would like to check if it is a "MUST" to take any class or course offering by emc for any exam (like i have been told by vmware) or i can just prepare my self to the exam, register and take the exam base on my knowledge without taking teh class.

rationale behind that policy. If I have the skills to pass the specialist exam then I feel that I should not be forced to take the lower level exams.
Of course it makes financial sense for EMC to mandate such a requirement.
