Blue screen - updating Intel 7260 WiFi Driver - Latitude E5440 - Win 10

dear members,

my Latitude E5440 crashes (blue screen) whenever Dell Update attempts to update the WiFi driver

it happens 100% of the attempts, the only solution is to restore the previous recovery point

looks specific to my laptop (HW or SW/FW conflicts) as my colleagues don't experience this

the WiFi interface appears to function correctly

details:

Dell latitude E5440 BIOS A15 (issue also with previous BIOS)

Win 10 Pro: load 1607 (issue also with previous load);

Resident WiFi driver: 17.15.0.5

Attempted upgrade WiFi driver: 18.33.0.2, A19

Blue screen message: somethign specific to Netwbw02.sys (below)

Anyone facing similar a issue has been able to fix ?
