My wife cracked the glass screen (digitizer) on her Venue 11 Pro. I bought a new one and replaced it without any issues. But now the machine will not boot. First error message I got was a prompt asking me for the Recovery Key (I did not have that and could not retrieve one from Microsoft). When I power on I get prompts telling me the system did not boot properly (no kidding) and I can Restart or go to Advanced Options. None of the Advanced Options or a Restart work. She doesn't care if her files cleared out - she had the presence of mind to backup. She just needs to get her tablet back up and running. (Did I perform a catastrophic reset when I disconnected the CMOS battery during touch screen replacement?). Thank you.
