Latitude XT

Are there no XP driver packs for the Latitude XT? I really really need one!

No, Sorry. I would suggest reviewing the drivers included in the XP Notebook Combo Cab to see if they include drivers for the XT.

Unfortunately, they don't really match up. The Latitude XT has a unique design from most other Latitude models, as it uses ATI as its SMBus and video, and utilizes older NTRIG and TI devices than the XT2. My organization has 500+ Latitude XT tablets from Dell, and since day one we have been feeling like the XT has been treated like it was never intended to be deployed as a Dell product. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of support for this product, especially since it was sold to us in droves as an Enterprise-level device, and still most of them are under a support contract. Life would have been much easier, I guess, if we had deployed Vista on these.

I'll send your feedback to the appropriate team so they are aware of this issue. Feel free to discuss your concerns with your Dell representative to make sure they are aware of the situation.

Thanks,

Warren
