Problem with SCCM import of x86 Intel NIC drivers for Optiplex 990

When trying to import the 32-bit NIC driver for the Dell Optiplex 990 from the winpe3 A04 cab so that I can add it to a 32-bit OSD Boot image I'm getting the nessage "The selected driver is not applicable to any supported platforms". Looking at the inf (E1c6232.INF) It doesn't seem to have any support for the RTM version of Windows 7, only service pack 1 which isn't supported by SCCM yet. The 64-bit drivers seem to have the support.

Found a solution for you today, while testing other driver injections.

I downloaded the most recent Intel NIC drivers and extracted the whole .exe with the latest version of 7-Zip. 50 .inf's unpacked and injected successfully into Win 7 32 and 64 bit(same drivers) and prompt for network setup during the OOBE setup.

Hope that helps,

Forgot to mention, Service Pack 1 integrated Win 7 Enterprise 64 and Win7 H/Premium 32b tested.
