Inspiron 5491 system bios

On a brand new 2 in 1 I received a message that updates were required.  Two were urgent, including the system bios for a security issue.  A third was recommended.  All three were selected by default and I clicked update.  Two of the three updated automatically and the system bios switched the link to install manually.  I clicked on it and the status has been indicating "installing" with 3 dots for close to 2 hours.  Should I continue to wait, or should I take some action?  At what point would I stop waiting, and what should I do then?
