Power factor correction for guitar amplifiers?

Hello,

I understand that EMC also encompasses power factor correction.

Do switch mode power supplies, which supply guitar amplifiers, and are housed inside the case of the guitar amplifier, ...do they need to be power factor corrected if there power is ABOVE 75W?

(At the moment, guitar amplifiers above 75W in power use non-power-factor-corrected supplies but are not "switch-mode" supplies.)
