Space Verification

I have inherited an EMC SAN CX3-10c.  IT's about 5 years old.

Following information:  (obtained from logging into SAN)

14x268.4gig drives

2x hosts connected to it

5x RAID Groups

     0 -- Disks 0 - 4  (Lun Quorum)

     1 -- Disks 5 - 8

     2 -- Disks 9 - 12

     99 -- Disk 13 -- Hot Spare

     100 -- Disk 14 -- Hot Spare

1x Storage Group -- Consists of:

     Both hosts

     4x LUNS

          Lun Quorum     (RAID Grp 0)

          MetaLun_SQL_Data_1  (RAID Grp 1)

          MetaLun_SQL_Data_2  (RAID Grp 2)

          MetaLun_SQL_Logs

From looking at the hosts we have the following:

S drive with 399g for SQL Storage

T drive with 399g for SQL Backups

L drive with 299g for SQL Logs

Q drive with 1g for Quorum

From my totals we have about 1TB in use out of what should be around 4TB.

Is there anyway to determine where the other 3+TB are being used or waiting to be allocated?

Someone said that the firmware/software takes up a great deal of space on these old SANs.

Thanks

Randy
