VNX not discovered in VNX

I installed SMI-S in a new VM. After Install I enter dv and see that both arrays are added to SMI-S. But I could not discover the arrays in prosphere. I am getting error: Unable to connect to provider at IP _____________ using access Credentials VNX. Please check IP address and Access Credentials, verify network connectiviy of provider host at specific IP address, and Make sure provider is running.

I am sure provider is running and credentials are right. How to check network connectivity??

I installed SMI-S on a new VM of a ESX host. Do I have to install it on ESX host itself??
