EHCM Service did not start after upgrade to HIT 4.7.1
Hi,
i upgraded HIT on 2 Windows Server 2008 R2 machines. No Problems during Installation. After reboot EHCM Service did not start.
Eventlog:
A timeout was reached (30000 milliseconds) while waiting for the EqualLogic Host Connection Management Service service to connect.
The EqualLogic Host Connection Management Service service failed to start due to the following error:The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely Fashion.
Now the machines are not able to use multiple paths.
The machines stil need about 100 windows updates. Do you think there is a Chance it will work after updating Windows ?

Hello Michael,
Only quick suggestion in uninstall HIT, reboot, install it again. Try running as a LOCAL admin, not a domain equivalent administrator. That's another common issue.
Failing that I would suggest opening a support case.
