Equallogic PS4100X Critical Alarm
Hi All,
We pulled our controller on the box, which unsurprisingly caused a critical alarm, the controller has bee reinserted, but we seem unable to reset the allarm, we have acknowledged the alarm thorough the event log in the gui but no joy.
Anyone any ideas.
Regards
Richard

Thanks Donald, am thinking a restart is most likely to resolve.

But everything is saying ok on the hardware side of things, event log indicates no errors syncing

There are a few things you can try:
1.) Connect to the serial port of the passive CM and issue "restart"
2.) Restart the array
3.) Remove the passive CM and wait one minute, then re-insert.
Sometimes a quick re-insert, or when you replace a CM, I have seen the error status not get cleared.

probably try this though the maintenance tab first, see if we can get away with a soft one.

Hello Richard,
Best suggestion is to open a support case and see why the passive controller didn't sync back up with the primary.
