Installing configuring SCOM MP suite 5.0
Hi, We have a Equallogic PS6110 and would like to have monitoring setup in SCOM 2012 R2. We have installed the latest version of the equallogic management pack suite 5.0 downloaded today.
after the install, it appears that all of the management packs are in place but while following the instructions, we cant seem to find a way to provide SCOM the details of our SAN so it can start monitoring.
The instructions say "Click on Import EqualLogic Scalable Feature or Import EqualLogic Detailed Feature task to import or upgrade a feature." but we dont have that option in the task pane as shown in the screenshot below.
what are we doing wrong? How do we tell it the details of our SAN and credentials so it can start monitoring?
The documentation doesnt seem to match what we see. Any guidance would be appreciated.

It's very important to run the EqualLogic Management Pack installer by right-clicking and selecting "Run as Administrator". This will grant the installer all the necessary permissions to install MP correctly.
You may need to first uninstall the MP, then reinstall as "run as administrator".

Hi Joe,
Thanks for the response. We have the management pack suite installed and show the features. Now how do we add in the equallogic arrays so they start being discovered and monitored?
Do we need the IP addresses of the SAN's? Do we need the SNMP community strings?
It seems like this part of the install is missing from the install guide.
