Load balancing request was received on the array.
Hi,
I am seeing a lot of these in the event logs when connecting to the group IP cluster address
iSCSI session to target ........ was closed. Load balancing request was received on the array.
and also this
iSCSI session to target ........ was closed. Volume location or membership changed.
Why is this happening? Is it normal?

This is a completely normal process. The EQL array has a Connection Load Balancer algorithm (CLB). Which compares the session loads on every available interface. Since there are more iSCSI sessions than interfaces, from time to time multiple sessions on a single interface can become busy. CLB will tell a specific iSCSI session to logout and log back into to the group. At which point it is moved to a different physical port for a better balance.
You can safely ignore these messages.

Thanks. Is there a way via the cli or UI to terminate sessions so they move to another interface?
