MPIO issue with Windows Server 2012 R2
Env:
Dell PowerEdge M950 using 2x Broadcom 57712-k Dual Port 10GbE NDC-k on WS 2012 R2
Equallogic PS6110 SSD
HIT 4.7.0
Issue:
Although the server has two NICs dedicated to iSCSI, only one path is used on all volumes, some volumes using one NIC, the others using the second NIC.
I also see repeated messages in the EventLog of the form:
Added device to \Device\MPIODisk13. DumpData contains the current number of paths.
then
Path 77020001 was removed from \Device\MPIODisk13 due to a PnP event. The dump data contains the current number of paths.
Any idea on what maybe wrong ?
Thanks

Sorry, forget to mention that we have several Equallogic in a group organized in pools. So a volume can and do span several members.
On the other servers on WS 2008 R2, a new path is created as soon as there is traffic on the volume.
