PS76500 - Remote Firmware update
What is the risk updating firmware on a remote site? I am updating form 5.2.6 to 6.0.7.
I am not onsite and need to do it remotely.

I would attempt this remotely on the proviso that you are sure the array has been cabled in accordance with best practice. Just execute it during a period of low IO, and or a weekend where you can get to site if there is a drama. Can anyone remotely get a serial cable into the storage processors at the remote end just in case?

Are you referring to a FS7600 or to a PS6500?
